Title: Mechanical Field Supervisor

Essential Job Duties

  • Identifies and collects building component data on systems installed at District sites.
  • Uses Tablets laptops and Smartphones to enter data.
  • Uses knowledge and experience in building construction to identify building systems that are hidden behind walls ceilings and floors.
  • Assesses the overall condition and remaining service life of building system components based on construction experience and knowledge.
  • Applies direction and guidance on determining Reference Service Life (RSL) Values specific to Owners Facilities Conditions Assessment (FCA) Unit leadership.
  • Works collaboratively with other trade surveyors to gather quantities measurements boilerplate information as needed and directed.
  • Conducts and supports ad hoc surveys related to Owners sites and buildings on an as needed basis.
  • May supervise the performance of staff and survey participants as needed; serve as a resource to staff.

Hardware/Software Knowledge

  • Ability to use Tablets laptops and Smartphones for entering data

Professional Experience Level/Other Quali cations

  • Six (6) or more years full time paid professional experience working with on-site construction management teams as well as with campus administrators faculty and staff.

Education/Training

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or Construction Management.
  • Candidates without a bachelors degree must have at least Ten (10) years of experience.
    • Four (4) of the Ten (10) years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis

Compensation

  • This role is salaried/exempt with a base annual salary range of $95000.00 - $ 97948.00 and commensurate with skill education experience and work location.
  • This role is bonus eligible after 6 months of employment.
