Job Summary

MEMCO is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician to help build and lead our Commercial and Industrial HVAC Service Department. This is a working development rolethe Senior Service Technician will be the primary field technician while training and developing new technicians. and helping establish service systems and processes.

This position is ideal for a senior commercial HVAC technician ready to step into leadership without leaving the field.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Service Work

Perform advanced commercial and industrial HVAC troubleshooting and repairs

Diagnose mechanical electrical and controls-related issues

Lead complex service calls and system evaluations

Ensure work meets safety quality and performance standards

Leadership & Training

Train mentor and support HVAC apprentices

Lead by example in the field with professionalism and technical excellence

Assist with onboarding and ongoing apprentice development

Customer & Operations Support

Communicate clearly with commercial and industrial customers

Provide recommendations repair explanations and service updates

Assist with service documentation estimates and reporting

Coordinate with operations and project teams as needed

Will be the lead point of contact for the service tech team

Review work orders and billings

Coordinate all training for the service division

Required Qualifications

7 years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC service experience

Familiarity with CRM Software (ex: BuildOps Service Titan Fieldedge)

Skilled in MS Office and Google Suites

Strong troubleshooting experience with:

oChillers Package Units and Split Systems

oBoilers pumps and hydronic systems

oElectrical systems and mechanical controls

Ability to work independently and lead in the field

Experience training or mentoring technicians

EPA Universal Certification

Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Texas Technician Registration Card
