Job Summary

QA Lead Roles and Responsibilities

1) Clearly understand and articulate the business or the technical problems that the product or AUT (application under test) is intended to solve.

2) Break down complex functional and technical requirements into simple requirements that the test team can easily comprehend.

3) Define the project-specific testing strategy and test plan/test schedule.

4) Own the complete delivery of Quality for the assigned projects/team.

5) Review and practice all the guidelines mentioned in the 10XE Test Strategy Doc.

6) Contribute hands-on billable work up to 70% of the total effort.

7) Have access to all the systems of the project to test every component effectively.

8) Own/drive/coordinate testing across multiple testing phases such as Component Integration User Acceptance and Production.

9) Understand and resolve all dependencies proactively before the start of the testing phase.

10) Have problem-solving skills and should be able to work independently without monitoring.

11) Proficient in any 1 Test Automation tool or technology.

12) Experience in Scrum test and defect management life cycle and any Test Management tool.

13) Team player effective communicator transparent and able to perform under pressure.
