- Le postulant doit avoir sa licence en tant quingénieur professionnel (non comme ingénieurs stagiaires ou ingénieurs juniors) depuis les cinq dernières années. Doit avoir une connaissance approfondie des exigences éthiques juridiques et réglementaires nécessaires pour exercer la profession dun ingénieur au Canada et en tant que chercheur en informatique. Préférence sur les autres candidats sera donnée à ceux avec de lexpérience dans un organisme provincial en tant quingénieur professionnel.
- The applicant must have a licence as a professional engineer (full licensure not as an EIT) for at least the current and past five years and have expert knowledge of the ethical legal and regulatory requirements needed to practice as a professional engineer in Canada and as a computer scientist. Preference over other applicants will be given to those with experience in a provincial organization as a professional engineer.

- The contract for this course will include a payment for 52 hours (instead of 39 hours) as it is required that the part-time professor teaching this course attends tutorials at least one hour per week (on average).
