Job Summary
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Storage Specialist Solutions Architect to join our Global Financial Services (GFS) Specialist this role you will work with customers introduce new technologies and adopt new addition you will be responsible for running technical go-to-market initiatives surfacing customers insights to the product teams and providing thought leadership to customers and partners.
Were seeking a Storage Solutions Architect for our GFS Specialists team who will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing sophisticated customer this role youll collaborate closely with customers to enable large-scale implementations and accelerate adoption of advanced AWS services. Youll partner with field Solution Architects to provide guidance on customer engagements while creating white papers blogs reference architectures and presentations that empower customers to fully utilize AWS capabilities.
Our Specialist Solutions Architects are recognized as technical visionaries who champion emerging technologies both conceptually and architecturally. They play an instrumental role in advancing cloud computing adoption within the Enterprise space. These individuals think innovatively to deliver results and design solutions that are cost-efficient mission-aligned and security-focused. As part of our team youll employ a customer-centric approach to develop AWS storage solutions and orchestrate the migration of complex workloads to the AWS cloud.
Key job responsibilities
Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our Account teams and customers.
Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers largest and most critical business challenges.
You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy storage and data strategies
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs whitepapers reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit AWS re: Invent etc.
Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best in class Go to Market concepts solutions and initiatives.
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including executive level stakeholders or clients
- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Experience in technology/software sales pre-sales or consulting
- Experience in compute and storage server architecture and design for large scale applications
- Experience with distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
- Experience architecting migrating transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives IT and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
