Position Summary
The Product Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the global product compliance and certification strategy for gas detection products across domestic and international markets. This role serves as the key owner of regulatory compliance execution certification planning audit readiness and cross-functional coordination to ensure products meet all applicable regulatory safety and market access requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in product certification deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and proven leadership capability to drive compliance initiatives across Engineering Quality Manufacturing Supply Chain and external certification bodies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all domestic and international product certifications for gas detection products including but not limited to China CCC CPA China Ex IECEx ATEX UL CSA CE KC/KCs and Radio Type Approval (SRRC).
Own the global compliance roadmap for new product introductions product changes and sustaining activities ensuring timely certification delivery in support of business and market launch objectives.
Monitor interpret and drive implementation of the latest international national and industry regulations standards and certification requirements to maintain ongoing product compliance and market access.
Provide strategic compliance leadership during product development by partnering with Engineering and Product teams early in the design cycle to identify regulatory risks and define certification requirements upfront.
Direct certification project execution including product sample submission test planning document preparation and submission package management (e.g. BOM schematics manuals drawings technical files) while ensuring alignment to timelines budgets and quality expectations.
Proactively identify and resolve certification issues removing roadblocks and driving effective corrective actions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Track and review test progress and non-conformities lead root cause analysis and work with Engineering Manufacturing Quality and Procurement teams to implement necessary design or process improvements.
Establish optimize and govern internal compliance processes including certification mark usage design change control document retention audit readiness and regulatory impact assessment.
Serve as the primary company representative to certification bodies notified bodies test laboratories and regulatory agencies; build strong working relationships and ensure effective communication throughout certification and audit activities.
Lead and support factory inspections external audits and annual surveillance audits ensuring preparation issue resolution and sustained compliance performance.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to internal teams on certification requirements regulatory interpretation compliance risks and best practices.
Drive cross-functional alignment and influence decision-making across multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance objectives are integrated into product operational and business priorities.
Where applicable mentor junior compliance engineers or specialists and contribute to building organizational capability in product compliance management.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
8 years of experience in product compliance certification or regulatory engineering with solid hands-on knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for industrial or safety-related products.
Proven experience managing certifications across multiple international schemes such as CCC CPA China Ex IECEx ATEX UL CSA CE KC/KCs and SRRC.
Strong understanding of regulatory processes certification lifecycle management product change control and audit support.
Experience in gas detection products industrial safety products or hazardous-area / explosion-proof products is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional projects influence stakeholders and drive decisions in a matrix organization.
Prior experience in a managerial team lead or project leadership role is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external agencies/certification bodies.
Strong problem-solving prioritization and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in both written and spoken English; Chinese language capability is an advantage for local regulatory coordination.

持续跟踪解读并推动落实最新国际国家及行业标准法规及认证要求确保产品持续符合相关合规要求
在产品开发早期从合规角度提供前置性支持和风险识别与研发和产品团队紧密合作将法规与认证要求前移到设计阶段
主导认证项目实施包括送样安排测试计划技术文件准备与提交如BOM原理图说明书图纸技术文档等确保项目按时按预算高质量推进
主动识别并推动解决认证过程中的问题与风险及时清除项目障碍确保认证流程顺利进行
跟踪测试进度并分析不符合项组织根因分析协同研发制造质量及采购团队落实设计或工艺改进措施
建立优化并监督执行内部合规管理流程包括认证标志使用规范产品变更控制文件管理审核准备及法规影响评估等
作为公司对外的主要合规窗口负责与认证机构检测实验室审核员及相关监管机构建立并维护良好合作关系确保沟通顺畅高效推进
主导并支持工厂检查外部审核及年度监督审核确保审核准备充分问题闭环及时持续合规能力稳定
为内部团队提供专业指导与培训提升研发制造质量等相关职能对认证标准法规要求及合规风险的理解与执行能力
推动跨部门协同与决策落地确保产品合规要求有效融入产品开发运营管理和业务决策之中
如有需要指导和培养初级合规工程师或专员持续建设团队的合规能力与专业水平

任职要求

电气电子机械工程或相关专业本科及以上学历
8年以上产品认证产品合规或法规工程相关经验具备工业产品或安全类产品法规要求的扎实实操经验
熟悉并具有多项国内外认证项目管理经验包括但不限于 CCCCPA中国防爆IECExATEXULCSACEKC/KCsSRRC 等
深入理解产品法规流程认证生命周期管理产品变更控制及审核支持工作
具有气体检测产品工业安全产品或防爆类产品经验者优先
具备跨部门复杂项目管理经验能够在矩阵式组织中推动协同影响决策并达成结果
有团队管理项目负责人或技术领导经验者优先
具备优秀的沟通协调利益相关方管理及对外联络能力能够高效协同内部团队及外部认证机构
