Job Title: Sterile Processing Manager
Location: Asheville NC
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Shift: Evening Shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM flexible based on department needs)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: From $52000/yr (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to support a high-performing surgical services department within a large acute care facility. This role will work closely with leadership to ensure efficient compliant and high-quality sterile processing operations supporting multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director to oversee daily sterile processing operations
- Support staff recruitment retention training and competency validation
- Ensure compliance with sterilization standards aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols
- Maintain instrumentation quality and optimize workflow efficiency across service lines
- Collaborate with Operating Room (OR) and specialty departments to ensure seamless operations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and recommend process and resource enhancements
- Promote teamwork and strong collaboration across clinical teams
- Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for accreditation surveys
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Completion of a Two-Year Surgical Technology program OR
- CRCST certification (IAHCSMM/HSPA) OR
- CSPDT certification
- Strong knowledge of OR instrumentation aseptic technique and infection control standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- Experience with SPM Workflow systems
- Prior leadership experience in a Surgery Center or similar setting
