As an Orthopedic Surgeon a you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the chance to work with experienced professionals and participate in a range of surgical procedures contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patients with orthopedic conditions
Perform surgical procedures as required
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Participate in patient consultations and follow-up care
Stay updated with the latest developments in orthopedic practices
Educate patients and their families about treatment options and recovery
Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Completion of residency in orthopedic surgery
Valid medical license to practice in the state
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to patient-centered care
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: 2.5-3 days of clinic and 1.5-2 days of OR per week
1:5 general and hand call rotation
Case Mix: Hand and general orthopedic cases
Support Staff: APPs for call
Team Structure: 4 orthopedic surgeons 1 plastic hand surgeon and 2 podiatrists
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits:
$693327 base salary
$50K sign-on bonus
