The QE drives prevention of defects leads nonconformance resolution executes root-cause and corrective actions and partners cross-functionally to improve Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Quality planning: Develop/review control plans inspection plans and quality requirements. Support APQP/PPAP-like deliverables as applicable
- Nonconformance management: Lead containment documentation and disposition support for nonconforming material. Ensure traceability and timely closure
- Corrective action: Conduct root-cause analysis (5-Why Fishbone data analysis). Implement/verify CAPA to prevent recurrence
- Process and product assurance: Support manufacturing/operations with process capability error-proofing and standard work adherence. Assess risk and drive improvements
- Audits and compliance: Ensure compliance to AS9100/ISO9001 (as applicable) internal procedures and customer requirements. Support internal/customer/regulatory audits and close findings
- Continuous improvement: Lead or support improvement projects to reduce variation improve yield and strengthen process controls
- Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Engineering Manufacturing Supply Chain and Programs to manage changes resolve issues and ensure deliverables are met
- Quality cage management: Manage thequality cage/hold areaby ensuring propersegregation identification/labeling inventory accuracy access control andtimely dispositionof nonconforming material
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in ownership of quality assurance and control for assigned supply chain customer and products/process areas). And a minimum of 3 years of ownership of quality assurance and control for assigned supply chain customer and products/process areas.
