$111798 $132585salary package - includes base salary ($98499 $116813) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading(if part time add pro-rata)

About the role
As TAFE NSW Teacher of Jewellery Design & Manufacture you will deliver engaging industry-relevant training that supports students to develop practical and technical skills to achieve vocational outcomes. You will plan and deliver learning programs assess student progress and maintain high-quality teaching practices aligned with contemporary industry standards.
Working within a dynamic workshop environment you will facilitate learning across a diverse student cohort ranging from 16-year-olds to mature-aged learners with varied cultural backgrounds and abilities. The role requires strong safety awareness ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with strict safety and compliance requirements.
You will collaborate with colleagues industry and the broader learning team to maintain curriculum relevance contribute to continuous improvement and enhance student outcomes.
About You
To succeed in this role you will be passionate about sharing your extensive jewellery design and manufacturing expertise and motivated to collaborate across the Creative Cultural & Experience Services team. You bring the drive to mentor and support students from diverse backgrounds fostering their development through your knowledge and experience.
You are collaborative adaptable and student-focused with strong safety awareness in a high-risk workshop with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality training delivery.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills and hold a Minimum level of Certificate IV in Jewellery Manufacture or a related qualification
- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
