Salary:Pay Band Nurse B42.040 to $52.440

Joh Description:Reporting to the Nurse Manager the Nurse B will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and resident flow of the unit. The incumbent will facilitate the encouragement of critical thinking skills of the nursing staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice. Maintains high quality resident care through assessment of residents families and staff planning for future needs; implementation of developed programs; and evaluation of the departments services.

Experience:

  • Previous education and or experience in coordinating activities and personnel

  • Minimum 3 years relevant long term care nursing experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
