Shift: Day Shift MondayFriday 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Orientation: 40 hours (Non-billable)
Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced GI / Endoscopy Technologist for a high-volume endoscopy lab in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong procedural experience supporting GI cases and the ability to assist physicians in both scheduled and emergent endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during GI and endoscopy procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms instruments and sterile equipment
- Support patient positioning monitoring and recovery assistance
- Ensure proper handling and cleaning of endoscopic equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
- Coordinate with surgical and OR teams for additional case support
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of GI / Endoscopy Tech experience required
- First-time travelers not accepted (unless 5 years strong experience)
- Experience supporting GI lab or endoscopy procedures required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of endoscopy equipment and workflow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
