As a Security Officer Welcome Center in Lake Mary FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech media and telecom location where you will serve as the welcoming face at the front this stationary role you will assist with access control greet visitors support badge processes and help address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $16.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a technology media and telecommunications environment.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors verifying credentials logging arrivals and departures and communicating with site contacts regarding guest access and/or deliveries.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering questions directing foot traffic maintaining awareness of lobby activity and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and adherence to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
