As our Maintenance Engineer you need to ensure stable and reliable operation of production equipment to support manufacturing and on-time delivery
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety Health Environment) Quality Security and manufacturing requirements
- Comply with ISO 9001 IATF 16949 ISO 14001 RoHS REACH and GMP systems
- Promote safety and quality awareness and behaviors
- Participate as a member of the Site Safety Committee and MOC (Management of Change) Committee
- Convert equipment repair requests into maintenance plans
- Participate in troubleshooting and ensure stable production line operation
- Maintain update and optimize m-FMEA
- Develop and update Preventive Maintenance (PPM) plans
- Define and maintain safety stock levels for spare parts
- Develop daily weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and execute maintenance inspections servicing and modifications
- Implement PPM for critical safety equipment
- Establish and maintain spare parts management systems
- Develop and update maintenance procedures and department documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and ensure corrective actions
- Train production operators in basic equipment operation maintenance and care
- Perform regular spare parts inventory checks especially for critical equipment
- Improve equipment reliability based on utilization and failure data analysis
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (safety quality efficiency)
- Manage special equipment and tooling systems including documentation and optimization
- Establish internal calibration systems for measuring instruments and provide related training and support
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment
- Manage engineering projects equipment modifications and maintenance contractors
- Participate in internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions
- Provide emergency maintenance support during nights weekends and holidays
- Participate in process safety roles (e.g. HAZOP MSA)
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- College degree or above major in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Basic English communication skills
- Extensive maintenance experience
- Familiar with rotating and static equipment
- Experience in PPM and equipment integrity improvement
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience
- Experience in both mechanical and instrumentation/electrical systems
- Familiarity with engineering plastics and polymer processing industry
