Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Thorp WI 54771
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Variable (Days/Evenings) includes a 30-minute unpaid break
Compensation:
- Travel Pay: $1734/week
- Local Pay: $1460/week
Note: Travel and housing reimbursements are not provided.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care support nursing teams and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Monitor and record vital signs symptoms and patient progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and feeding
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond effectively to patient needs and changes in condition
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent LPN experience required
- Active Wisconsin LPN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days and evenings
