Our PACU team supports twelve (12) ORs providing safe vigilant postoperative care and ensuring smooth secure patient transitions after anesthesia.
How youll contribute
ANurse Managerwho excels in this role:
- Assists with developing specific department goals standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Manages staff relations including performance management staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling staff development recruitment payroll and student engagements.
- Monitors departmental budgets regulatory compliance departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchase monitors usage and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients staff physicians and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors preferred).
Additional requirements include
Basic Life SupportHealth Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 1 year)
2-years nursing experience
7-years managerial experience (preferred)
