Job Summary
About The Role
This is a great opportunity to join Sportsbets Risk & Trading team as a Sports Risk Operator on a 3month secondment based in this role you will help ensure bestinclass risk management by monitoring betting markets profiling customer behaviour and optimising performance while delivering a strong customer experience.
Reporting to the Sports Risk Team Lead you will work closely with trading operations tech promos and premium teams acting as a key connector between risk and the wider business. This role suits someone who thrives in fastpaced environments enjoys working with data and makes calm accurate decisions under pressure.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor betting markets customer behaviour prices and liabilities
- Manage bet acceptance and settlement accuracy in line with trading strategies
- Identify fraud integrity risks and compliance issues and act quickly
- Profile and segment customers to improve experience rewards and promotions
- Use data and insights to support P&L performance and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships across risk trading and crossfunctional teams
About You
- Strong analytical thinking and competent maths skills
- Experience or exposure to probability and datadriven decision making
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to change
- Confidence working with large datasets to identify trends and risks
- A proactive customerfocused mindset
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and shifts between 7am and 10pm
