Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Engineer designs builds and maintains scalable data pipelines and DataMart to support INSEADs business intelligence and analytics platform. This role owns end-to-end ETL/ELT delivery-from requirements through production support-ensuring solutions meet architectural standards for reliability performance and security. The position works closely with the BI Lead Project Manager System Analyst and infrastructure and cybersecurity teams and contributes to continuous improvement of the data engineering stack and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design build and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT solutions based on requirements agreed with the BI Project Manager and System Analyst.

- Develop and evolve Datamarts using dimensional modeling; integrate multiple data sources into cohesive maintainable ETL flows (Qlik Talend; SSIS for legacy workloads).

- Ensure scalability security and performance through monitoring tuning and optimization as data volumes grow; manage code via Git and TMC; evaluate and adopt improvements (e.g. Microsoft Fabric) where relevant.

- Follow INSEAD delivery and change-management processes: participate in Scrum ceremonies contribute to design reviews and present significant changes to CAB; partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to reduce data exposure risk and maintain audit-ready ETL checklists and matrices.

- Collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality data engineering solutions; take strong ownership of scope timelines and quality and align delivery with the BI Project Manager.

- Stay current on data engineering technologies (e.g. Azure Databricks Snowflake) and share recommendations to improve the BI platform; maintain clear documentation and provide ongoing support to enhance Datamart and BI efficiency.
