Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization capitalizes on Amazons scale speed ability to build invent and simplify a resilient and sustainable company. Key job responsibilities
- Produce clear and concise documentation such as detailed design specifications drawings white papers diagrams and reports.
- Understand and safeguard implementation of the Global Architectural Basis of Design (BoD) by driving standardization in the data center architectural designs.
- Development of strategic solutions which meet or exceed our quality requirements and fall within our budgetary requirements. Capture requirements and turn aspirational company or customer goals into well-defined achievable and testable specifications and solutions.
- Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to and during innovation and research and development projects.
- Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate solutions.
- Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.

Youll participate in design reviews engage with vendors and contribute to sustainability initiatives that shape our environmental footprint.

- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience in data center design construction operations or facility maintenance
- Experience researching new designs technologies and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture

- Professional Engineering or Architectural License
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration development and into deployment or mass production
- Experience reading interpreting and creating construction drawings specifications and submittal documents
- Working proficiency with AutoCAD Revit Navis works Bluebeam
- Proficiency in building codes regulations and standards including IBC IFC and NFPA
