Job Summary
The Mathematics and Physics Department of Iona University invites applicants foradjunctpositions in Physics for Summer 2026. The successful candidate will teach courses in PHY 101 and/or PHY 102 that each meet twice/week for 5 weeks with both lecture and lab components. The courses meet in person onIonas New Rochelle campus. As the successful candidate will be teaching both the lab and lecture sections these are 5 credit courses and the compensation for teaching will be roughly $6300 per course. The instructor would be provided with the course textbook and a sample syllabus and there is a lab technician who would help prepare the labs each day. The details of the course timing are:

Qualifications
Qualification: Masters Degree in physics education or a related field by June 1 2026.
Graduate Course Rates - $1328-$1562 per credit based on qualifications
Undergraduate Course Rate - $1273 per credit
