Job Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants CNA/ NA to provide personalized one-on-one care for patients in a home setting throughout Roanoke Salem and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for caregivers who enjoy helping others maintain independence comfort and safety while having flexibility and control over their schedule.

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants CNA/ NA you will assist patients with activities of daily living while working closely with the home health team to ensure patients receive exceptional care in accordance with their individualized care plans.

Responsibilities of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants CNA/ NA:

• Provide one-on-one care for patients in a home setting
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming toileting hygiene and feeding
• Assist with ambulation transfers and range of motion exercises
• Monitor patient condition including vital signs intake/output and blood glucose when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse
• Work alongside home health nurses and aides to ensure patient care plans are followed
• Maintain a safe clean and comfortable home environment
• Communicate effectively with patients families and care team members

Qualifications of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants CNA/ NA:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Virginia
• CPR certification required
• Six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred
• Current tuberculosis test required
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Compassionate dependable and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
