Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Procurement Officer (6-Month FTC) to join their mining company based in will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities supplier management and purchasing processes to support efficient and compliant operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement activities to support operational and project requirements.
- Source suppliers products and quotations in line with procurement policies and business needs.
- Maintain procurement systems vendor information and purchasing records.
- Liaise with internal departments suppliers and finance teams regarding procurement and payment matters.
- Process procurement transactions and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance analyse procurement data and report variances where required.
- Supervise and support team members where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 3-5 years experience as a Procurement Officer within the mining industry
- National Diploma in Supply Chain or Equivalent (Advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Valid Drivers License
