Job Summary

Overview/Objective

The Production Budgeting and Management Department at NFL Films is seeking a7-monthseasonal projectPost-ProductionProject Manager: DocumentaryTV & Media Production. The ProjectManager at NFL Films works closely with multiple teams in the Media & TV industryand within NFL Films. This includes working withthird-party clients andNFL Filmscreativesto budget creative treatmentspost-productionscheduling and engineeringfor all editorial requirements andfinanceto wrap and bill upon completion of each job.

Responsibilities

  • Assess TV production and media projects froma logisticsand financial standpoint
  • Gather information and communicate with all relevant departments about the specifics of a project
  • Accurately budget TV production and media projects and work through any changes in specs or scope of workon a daily basistodeterminewhere the project will land fiscally.
  • Provideaccurateandtimelyreporting on the current and projected state offinanceson each project
  • Communicate timelines deadlines and adjust schedule as needed.
  • At delivery of job oversee orhandle personallythe actualization of the project and the creation of a wrap binder
  • At the conclusion of wrap report to accounting and make sure billing occurs (if applicable)
  • PM must be able to manage multiple projects at one time with vast budget ranges and deliverable timelines.
  • Own and manage project budgets; monitorspendand keep projects on target.
  • Act as the post producer and partner with the agency producer to build andmaintainschedules.
  • Serve as the primary client contact; translate client goals intocleardirection that helps the team deliver against the creative vision.
  • Manage concurrent projects when multiple campaigns overlap; prioritize work and communicate tradeoffs as needed.
  • Track project email threads including items that may fall outside immediate scope to ensure nothing is missed.
  • Join post sessions as needed andmaintaindaily check-ins to keep workprogressingand unblock issues.
  • Quality-checkfinal deliverable links prior to delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to post-production project coordinators (without direct people management responsibilities).
  • Work swing shift hours (128 p.m.) when needed to support production demands.
  • Document handoffs and share status updates to support AM/PM coverage outside standard hours.

Required Qualifications

  • College Degree-BA or BS in a production related field
  • Minimum 5yearsofexperience in TV/Film/Media
  • 3 years of experience with budgetingtrackingandmanaging ofmultiple media relatedprojects
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
  • Client handling experience

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years of Production and Post-Production experience

Other Key Attributes/ Characteristics

The candidate should be a self-starter withextremelystrong candidate should also be able to keep all relevant parties informed on the status of their project or tasks daily. The Project Manager will need todemonstrateorganizationalskills andmaintainmeticulous records of ability to multi-task and take direction is key to the success of this role.
