General Information:

Student Box Office Assistants sell tickets for up to 200 ticketed events a year at the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts at James Madison University. These include music theatre and dance events.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct point-of-sale computer ticketing sales from the box office including phone orders in-person orders returns exchanges and unpaid ticket transactions. Prepare sales reports and end-of-night reconciliations. Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience.
Ability to work evenings weekends and day shifts Monday to Friday.
Ability to work under pressure and be very detail-oriented.
Problem-solving and decision-making are required.
