About the job
You operate at a global level to ensure strong environmental governance and continuous improvement across our operations. The role focuses on defining global requirements and frameworks supporting local implementation and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation worldwide.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive consistent and highquality environmental performance across global operations
  • Identify assess and proactively manage environmental risks and impacts
  • Translate corporate environmental and sustainability ambitions into practical solutions
  • Collaborate with regional and local EHS sustainability and operational teams providing expert guidance and support.

Location and flexibility
This role offer a flexible location within Europe close to one of our sites and preferably Sweden. We apply a hybrid set up allowing you to combine office and remote work. Some travel is included.

Your profile
You bring a solid professional foundation within environmental work in a similar role preferably in industrial manufacturing or construction-related environments. You have extensive experience operating in a global collaborative context and your expertise allows you to balance legislation business needs and continuous improvement. Experience from Health and Safety is considered a strong merit supporting cross-functional EHS development.

Your background also includes:

  • A university degree in environmental science chemical engineering sustainability or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish and European environmental legislation
  • Experience working with environmental management systems preferably ISO 14001
  • Background in compliance followup audits and dialogue with authorities
  • Experience influencing across functions cultures and geographies without direct line authority
  • Proficiency in English; Swedish is an advantage

Youre selfdriven accountable and proactive with a natural ability to take ownership of your area being comfortable switching between strategic and operational perspectives. A pragmatic mindset helps you focus on what creates value while strong communication skills allow you to engage stakeholders.
