Software Engineer with Python

Software Engineer Pune

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mid Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python Java Microservices architecture and SQL. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent problemsolving skills strong engineering fundamentals and handson experience building scalable reliable backend systems. This role requires close collaboration with crossfunctional teams and ownership of endtoend solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Java.
• Build enhance and maintain microservicesbased architectures with a focus on performance scalability and reliability.
• Develop Pythonbased components for data processing transformation and analysis using standard libraries.
• Write efficient optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews unit testing and adherence to best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve complex production issues.
• Collaborate closely with Product QA DevOps and other engineering teams.
• Continuously improve system performance maintainability and operational stability.

Qualifications :

• Must have 4 years of experience
• Core Programming: Strong proficiency in Python with handson experience in Python (Pandas NumPy statistical/analytical libraries).
• Solid experience in Java with strong objectoriented programming fundamentals.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills Backend & Microservices
• Proven experience designing and developing Microservices.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and servicetoservice communication.
• Knowledge of design patterns data structures and algorithms.

Databases

• Strong handson experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in query optimization schema design and performance tuning.
• Additional / Relevant Skills (Professional Engineer Expectations)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure / AWS / GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of application security best practices.
• Experience with logging monitoring and observability tools.
• Exposure to message queues or eventdriven systems (Kafka RabbitMQ etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Largescale / distributed processing (nice to have): PySpark / Spark ecosystem where applicable.
• Experience building Pythonbased batch jobs or backend services.
• Exposure to machine learning or advanced statistical techniques.
