Our client an Atlantic Canadian owned & operated company is seeking a Director of Finance for a permanent opportunity in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. Working with a group of diverse companies the successful candidate is an entrepreneurial and driven professional interested in contributing to all aspects of the business finance and operations. A critical member of the management team this role reports to the President and CEO.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Finance and treasury management
• Period end financial reporting
• Budgeting planning and forecasting
• Staff management
• Internal controls and processes
• Maintaining banking & legal relationships and reporting requirements
• Risk management

Experience & Attributes for Success:

• CPA designation with relevant experience
• Proven results-oriented leader
• Excellent business acumen with interest in fast paced entrepreneurial environment
• Strong technology skills
