Primary Role:
Provide assistance and support to the HR Department to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the central office. They act as a central point of contact supporting both employees and management across various HR functions ensuring smooth operations and a positive work environment and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
- HR experience preferred (school or nonprofit setting a plus)
- Knowledge of HR systems and compliance requirements preferred
Skills Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records ensuring all documentation and hard copies are properly uploaded and stored in TalentED
- Assist employees and administrators with HR-related inquiries and processes
- Provide guidance and support related to Workers Compensation Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and FMLA
- Assist with employment licensure and background verification requests
- Track and support H-1B employees to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations and deadlines
- Assist with HR census preparations and audits
- Coordinate and manage HR department calendar events deadlines and compliance timelines
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes including documentation and orientation coordination
- Assist with benefits administration and annual enrollment processes
- Support policy implementation and ensure compliance with federal state and organizational regulations
- Collaborate with leadership to support employee relations initiatives
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned to support department operations
