Management Analyst

LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Management Analyst to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

Location: Keyport WA

Overview:

Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT) provides test and evaluation; in-service engineering maintenance and repair; Fleet readiness and industrial base support for undersea warfare systems countermeasures and sonar systems. Essential to the successful execution of NUWCDIVKPTs mission is the ability to obtain contractor-provided business and administrative support services to supplement the technical civilian workforce.

Job Description:

The Management Analyst will conduct analytical work on a wide range of subjects of importance such as project/program effectiveness policy development project management information systems law and regulatory compliance and may be asked to support special ad-hoc projects for senior managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct analytical work on a wide range of subjects of importance such as project/program effectiveness policy development project management information systems law and regulatory compliance.
• Support special ad-hoc projects for senior managers.
• Conduct organizational budgetary and efficiency studies and evaluations related to cost schedule and performance.
• Prepare customer (sponsor) statement of work proposals metrics budget exhibits and other program related data drills.
• Conduct simplifications and measurement studies and update or prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management and project managers in operating more efficiently and effectively or to reduce costs.
• Must have a high level of knowledge in project management and must be able to support senior leadership by collecting assembling and communicating project plans as well as project execution with little to no government involvement.
• Perform fiscal year closeout and startup analyses.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation). Please visit the following link for more information: degree in Business Finance Accounting or Economics.
• Must have experience working with Microsoft Office products (Excel Access PowerPoint Visio Project and Word) to provide analysis metrics and input to individual making financial accounting and/or program/project related decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Must possess strong time management skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced changing and challenging environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current active Secret security clearance.
• 3-4 years of experience as a Management Analyst or similar management field. Certificate in Project Management Lean Principles or related certifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting standing and walking.

Expected Salary Range: $65000 - $70000 annually. Salary will be based on job-related knowledge skills education training certifications and work location.
