Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)
Hours: 32 hours per week Monday-Friday
Salary: $42-45 per hour
Schedule: Flexible can accommodate part-time or full-time hours. Schedule can include weekends if needed and for the right candidate.
Job Description:
As a Speech Language Pathologist you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine the patients speech language and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patients needs and goals
- Implement therapy interventions to improve speech language and swallowing skills
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries
- Adhere to all professional ethical and legal standards of practice
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Prior experience in a SNF setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
