• Working Hours: 7:25 am-2:50 pm with a 40-minute lunch
• Student Age Group: Middle School

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Administer and interpret standardized tests and other tools to identify students speech language and hearing needs.
• Intervention Planning: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students specific communication goals.
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individual and group speech and language therapy utilizing appropriate strategies and techniques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with parents teachers administrators and other specialists to support students communication development.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously monitor student progress and make adjustments to intervention plans as needed.
• Consultation: Serve as a resource for staff and families offering guidance and strategies to support students with speech and language needs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of evaluations progress and recommendations.

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Appropriate Illinois SLP licensure.
• Strong understanding of special education standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in assessing and remediating speech and language disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective therapeutic interventions.
