Position: SWE/LLM Superuser
Type: Contract
Compensation: $42/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve AI model outputs in complex software engineering tasks.
- Develop and refine prompt engineering techniques including chain-of-thought and few-shot methods.
- Build and optimize agentic systems with tool-calling loops and multi-step reasoning pipelines.
- Manage context effectively using RAG chunking and vector search to prevent degradation.
- Critically assess model outputs identifying hallucinations and subtle failures.
- Work independently and asynchronously to enhance AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4 years professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least two languages (Python TypeScript Go Rust etc.).
- Comfortable with APIs databases cloud infrastructure and application logic.
- Expert command of prompt engineering and context management.
