Job Description

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a Neuro and Stroke-focused unit in a high-acuity teaching hospital. The RN will provide care for adult patients with neurological stroke and post-neurosurgical conditions while working in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for neuro and stroke patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Manage complex neurological cases including CVA seizures TBI spinal cord injuries and post-neurosurgical recovery
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy central lines and PICC lines
• Provide care involving tracheostomy feeding tubes and respiratory support
• Participate in rapid response situations as needed
• Document all care accurately in EPIC EMR
• Float to other qualified units or campuses as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or Compact license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• EPIC EMR experience required (minimum 1 year)
• ACLS BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong experience with neuro and stroke patient populations
• Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and manage acute changes in condition
• Competency in IV starts central line care and heparin/PCA protocols
