What You Will Do
- Install low-voltage cabling for Access Control CCTV Intrusion Detection and intercom systems
- Install and terminate copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure
- Install and configure electronic security equipment control panels devices and supporting hardware
- Install head-end equipment including servers NVRs DVRs Ethernet switches and related network equipment
- Properly mount cameras enclosures displays power supplies switches and associated equipment
- Perform system testing troubleshooting and corrective actions
- Follow project drawings specifications and installation standards
- Complete assigned tasks safely efficiently and with a high level of quality
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate daily project progress
- Safeguard company tools equipment and materials
- Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety requirements
- Travel to project sites and support installations nationwide as needed
What You Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent technical training
- 3 years of experience in electronic security systems low-voltage systems or related technical fields
- Experience with Lenel and Milestone systems required
- Knowledge of low-voltage wiring installation practices and industry standards
- Ability to read and follow project drawings specifications and installation instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide and safely use basic hand tools
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Must pass background screening requirements
Preferred:
- Experience supporting federal government projects or agencies
- Military technical experience or honorable military service
- OSHA certification
- Manufacturer certifications or experience with Lenel Avigilon Software House Milestone or similar platforms
- Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $23.07.- $27.00 per hour depending on experience
