Job Summary
Apprentice Linemen/Groundsman works with line crews in the power/utility industry supporting linemen who install and maintain electrical distribution and transmission lines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up job sites and safety zones
- Hand tools and materials to lineman
- Dig holes set poles and anchor guy wires
- Operate equipment augers trenchers bucket trucks
- Once trained direct traffic in work zones
- Maintain and organize tools and trucks
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electricity and safety
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols
- Team communication - working closely with a crew
- Class C or Class A Drivers License;CDL preferred

Outdoor job sites such as utility right-of-way work construction yards or maintenance sites.
