Job Description
This classification level works under limited supervision and is responsible for organizing directing coordinating and supervising the activities of the divisions of a large county court which usually includes any combination of civil small claims criminal traffic and probate divisions. Responsibilities may include: assigning workloads supervises and reviews work performance through intermediate supervisors; administer staff training based on established procedural updates; resolving court calendar conflicts; and responding to complex court cases.

Salary:
A Division Managers salary range is $53831.67 - $65588.76.
After probation period is completed the Permanent wage will increase at least 2.5%. Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved.
Job Duties
1. Manages and oversees clerical and supervisory staff by prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures.
2. Provides advanced and specialized administrative support in an assigned area such as: monitoring project timelines identifying and resolving issues; coordinating division services; maintaining confidential records; and managing court calendar.
3. Researches collects and analyzes a variety of complex data and information; ensures accuracy of information; and makes recommendations based on findings.
4. Prepares reviews and maintains paperwork databases spreadsheets applications forms reports or confidential information related to assigned area of responsibility; ensures completeness and accuracy of information.
5. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
The above classification responsibilities represent only the key areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the business needs of the department.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; and 4 years of progressively responsible experience in court administration or equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
All educational credits must be granted from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

- Preparing correspondence memos and/or other related information;
- Assembling and organizing data and information;
- Providing customer service;
- Using modern office equipment;
- Using a computer and related software applications;
- Communication interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers supervisor the general public etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class work is primarily sedentary although some slight physical effort may be required not to exceed 20 LBS
