Work Environment & Schedule
- Must reside in Houston or the surrounding area to report in-person on short notice.
- Type: Hybrid (Both remote and onsite).
- Onsite Requirement: Must be in-office at least on Wednesdays and available to come in at a moments notice.
- Travel: No travel is required for this role.
The Opportunity
A leading Healthcare organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Net Revenue Analyst to join their team in Houston TX. This is a newly created full-time position reporting directly to the Director Net Revenue.
Role Overview
As a Senior-level analyst you will serve as a mentor and resource to staff while supporting the monthly financial close process. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy preparing trend models and communicating findings regarding rate variances to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to discern trends for management decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare journal entries reconciliations and schedules for external financial reporting and auditors.
- Revenue Cycle: Develop accounting reserve methodologies and seek to understand dependencies across the revenue cycle and reimbursement sources.
- Collaboration: Liaise with departments across the organization including finance executives and contribute to software implementations.
- Compliance: Remain current on government and commercial reimbursement regulations and actively participate in the Crowe RCA user community.
Position Requirements
Strict Must-Have Qualifications:
- Kodiak (Crowe) Experience: Direct experience with Kodiak (Crowe) is non-negotiable.
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of specialized experience in Net Revenue.
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of reimbursement structures from both commercial and government payors.
Education and Skills:
- Education: Bachelors degree required preferably in Business Finance Accounting or Economics; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
- Systems: Proficiency in retrieving data from Excel Lawson EPSI and Crowe RCA.
- Health Policy: This client does not hire individuals who use tobacco products.
