Job Summary
American Driver is hiring Class A CDL holders who are ready to start their trucking career. No prior professional driving experience is required. If you have your CDL and the hours from an accredited school we will take it from there.
Training Program
- 4 to 6 week paid program with an experienced road mentor
- Live loads from day one real freight real schedules
- Hands-on coverage of ELD compliance HOS regulations and daily inspections
- Paid every week during training guaranteed
- After solo sign-off base pay starts at $0.56 CPM
What the Job Looks Like
- Dry van no-touch freight
- Approximately 60% drop and hook
- 2200 to 2500 miles per week
- Eastern lanes with consistent freight year-round
Compensation
- Starting pay at $0.56 CPM with performance-based increases
- Average weekly take-home of $1200 to $1500
- Additional pay for stops layovers and breakdowns
- Automatic pay review at six months
- $300 orientation pay
- Direct deposit weekly
Home Time
- Scheduled home time every two weeks consistent and predictable

- Late-model Freightliner or Kenworth ()
- All trucks equipped with APUs

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL age 21 or older
- Minimum 120 hours of instruction from an accredited CDL school
- No major violations in the past 3 years
- No DUI in the past 5 years
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
