Job Summary
When Alfred Fain founded a small Rhode Island tire store in 1924 at the time no one could have predicted how Teknor Apex would become an international custom compounder sought out by companies around the world. After a nearly hundred-year journey thats carried us through acquisitions and expansion we now have nine U.S. locations as well as operations in Belgium Singapore Germany and China.

These relationships are what allow ustogetherto deliver customized compound solutions and help our customers create better products.

Shift: 7:30am to 4pm
Job Requirements:
- Unloads elevators.
- Stage truck shipments in the Shipping Area.
- Process customer returns.
- Process UPS orders through the UPS system.
- Load all Teknor or outside trucks for shipment of designated orders ensuring that stretch wrapping is provided when needed.
- Maintain a clean neat safe work area on the shipping dock. Check forklift daily prior to operating.
- Experience with Teknor Apex computer systems preferred.
Skills:
- Able to read and comprehend English.
- Possess good math skills.
- Able to drive (or learn to drive) a forklift and to use an electric hand truck.
- Possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
