Job Summary
Position OverviewPerry Local Schools is seeking a passionate student-centered Junior High ELA Teacher to inspire and engage learners in grades 78. We are a district that values strong instruction meaningful connections and a commitment to helping every student grow as a reader writer thinker and ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging instruction aligned to Ohios Learning Standards for English Language Arts Foster a classroom culture that promotes critical thinking discussion and a love of reading Use data to inform instruction and support student growth Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instructional practices Integrate writing grammar literature and speaking/listening skills across units Build positive relationships with students families and staffQualificationsValid Ohio teaching license in ELA (Grades 49 or 712 preferred)Strong classroom management and instructional skillsCommitment to student success and continuous improvementAbility to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needsA team-oriented mindset with a positive solutions-focused approach
