Job Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Department in various human resource functions. This position is on-site at our Main Office at Bristol Hospital and is not a remote position.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Data Entry. Updating Paycom with the applicant and employee file information
Assisting in the coordination of on-site Wellness Programs
Assisting with processing employee action forms and auditing data entry.
Support the department in various human resources program procedures and policies
Answer routine questions from employees and applicants regarding employment procedures policies and other HR related topic
Assist with recruitment and pre-onboarding processes
Review New Employee Orientation Slides and update as needed
Organizational skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Attention to detail:Accuracy and meticulousness in maintaining records and completing tasks.
Proficiency in HR software:Familiarity with HR software and tools used by the company.
Communication skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and employees.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-4:30 PM
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program from an accredited college focused on Human Resources or a closely related field
Basic Understanding of HR Principles
Previous coursework in HR Labor Laws and management is preferred.
