Job Summary
The Division of Engineering and Environmental Studies is seeking applications for an adjunct instructor in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Courses to be taught may include
- Operations Research
- Engineering Economy
- Data Analytics
- Engineering Probability and Statistics
- Engineering Management
- Design of Experiments
We seek instructors who are adept in student-centered teaching methods equity-based approaches to pedagogy and experience with digital teaching technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a M/W/F or T/TH on-campus schedule; however hybrid or online options may be available based on experience and need. Course schedules may include up to 3 courses per semester.
- Course preparation delivery grading and records management for each course for the full duration of scheduled instruction.
- Be fully prepared for each class session and enforce academic policy and procedures
- Comply with institutional rules and regulations.
- Maintain complete course and student records.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors in Industrial and Systems Engineering or closely related field and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience with a Professional Engineering license; OR Masters degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Industrial and Systems Engineering or closely related field.
