We have several casual roles available for Learning Facilitator/Lecturer teaching Bachelor of Nursing students. Courses are taught over the course of 3 trimesters per year each trimester consisting of12 weekblocks. Casual lecturers should haveflexibilityto pick up shifts during these trimesters.

We have three casual Learning Facilitator/Lecturer roles available. Ideally we are looking for candidates who can work a minimum of 23 days per week specifically Monday Tuesday and/or Wednesday (8.00am - 3.30pm - 11.00am - 6.00pm)

Reporting to theCoordinator Nursingyou willbe responsible for:

• Delivery and teaching of the Nursing Program contentutilisingflexible learning modes to accommodate student needs ensuring compliance with all regulatoryframeworks

• Mentor students to understand andutilisethe Codes and Standards of Professional Practice relating to Nursing

• Utiliselearning technology effectively and embed in design and delivery

• Engage in studentcentredlearning and teaching practices andmaintainingan active and positive education experience

• Engage in amodelbest practice in applying pedagogical principles instructional strategies and communication strategiesappropriate tothe learners.

• Provide on-going assessment support for students to satisfactorily complete assessment tasks
  

Who are you
To be successful in the Bachelor of Nursing - Lecturer position you MUST have (TEQSA requirement):

• Experience in education/training and assessment

• Understanding of pedagogical and/or adult learning principles relevant to the student cohort being taught.

• Mastersqualification in nursing

• Current Division 1 Nurse Registration with AHPRA

• Sound understanding of current scholarship and/or professional practice in the discipline that is being taught

• CurrentWorkingwith Children Check
