Job Description:
Lead and manage the group financial reporting process including monthly interim and annual reporting cycles
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Ensure full compliance with regulatory tax and statutory reporting requirements
Take ownership of technical accounting matters including complex IFRS assessments and disclosures
Manage the external audit process acting as the primary liaison with auditors and ensuring timely resolution of queries
Oversee the preparation and submission of tax calculations returns and related compliance requirements
Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary including actual vs budget and variance analysis
Coordinate and produce integrated and sustainability reports working with cross-functional teams
Maintain and strengthen internal controls governance frameworks and reporting accuracy
Drive improvements in financial reporting processes systems and efficiencies
Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the business to support strategic decision-making
Mentor and support junior finance team members where applicable
Skills & Experience:
Qualified CA(SA)
45 years post-articles experience in finance/reporting Career 26 PDF
Strong IFRS and financial reporting expertise
Experience with tax compliance and audit management Career 26 PDF
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Career 26 PDF
High attention to detail strong ethics and a proactive mindset
