Job Summary

Norton Hill Primary are looking for a permanent After School Club Assistant.

Our After School Club provision is extremely popular and to continue supporting our families we require to expand our team. We are looking for a dynamic flexible hard working and reliable individual to work as part of our friendly team.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 3.15pm - 5.45pm Friday 3.15pm - 4.30pm

Term time only plus 1 Inset day

Salary - Grade 1 Scale Point 3. Actual Salary: 6503

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Overview):

  • Provide safe creative and appropriate play opportunities.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs.
  • Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the Food Safety Act 1990.
  • Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered.
  • Ensure that play meets the full range of childrens individual and group needs.
  • Ensure smooth running of the provision

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Ability to manage time effectively.

Able to work with minimum supervision.

Have a can do attitude.

Take pride in a job well done.
