Supply Base Management Spec (Supply Base Mgmt)

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.

In this role you will develop and execute robust Recovery Plans in partnership with our suppliers and internal teammates. You will also facilitate supplier/subcontractor business relationships in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations. The priority and objectives are to drive improved supplier performance achieving measurable targets. You will collaborate cross functionally with Boeing teammates across Business Units including Engineering Procurement Planning Quality Supply Chain functional experts and Boeing leadership. Your efforts will achieve BDS goals of driving Supply Chain Stability while managing our supplier performance and ensuring orders deliver on time to satisfy customer needs while working complex recovery and mitigation plans to avoid risk to overall program schedule.

The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise inproject leadership strong relationship management skills procurement knowledge from cradle to grave problem solving and the strong ability drive action.

Position Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture relationship with Suppliers at all Levels
• Partner with supplier to develop and lead Supplier Recovery Roadmap and Projects Ensuring progress to plan & actions
• Coordinate collaborate and present recovery project plans status actions and help needed with Supply Chain teams & Key Stakeholders.
• Collaborate and develop sense of ownership with internal teams such as Supplier Management Planning Engineering Supplier Quality and Global Field Ops.
• Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs.
• Analyzes supplier and internal business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication skills collaboration and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.
• Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies.
• Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers customers and programs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer Supplier Program Manager Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager or Supply Base Manage
• 2 years of experience managing supplier relationships
• 2 years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles
• 2 years of project management
• 2 years of cross functional experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2 years of forecasting asset mgmt. and collaborative planning
• 2 years of experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external)
• 2 years of experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited procurement demands
• 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• 2 years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
• 2 years of collaborating respectfully
• 2 years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive results.
• 2 years of experience in supply chain capacity planning
• 2 years of strong communication and relational skills

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
