Maintain and grow a service route throughout the El Centro/Desert Area supporting fire extinguishers kitchen hood systems and emergency lighting. Conduct inspections service and repairs on emergency lights fire extinguishers and preengineered/industrial suppression systems in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. A JCIbranded company vehicle is provided for all route and service activities.
Responsibilities
Selfschedule and manage appointments with contracted customers.
Maintain and track inventory.
Identify deficiencies and recommend solutions based on manufacturer guidelines and state/local codes.
Perform onsite quoting sales service and repairs.
Upsell and crosssell products and services to support customer compliance with current fire codes.
Develop new accounts within the assigned route.
Meet or exceed performance quotas.
Prospect potential customers for suppression products and services.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license.
Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces including ladder use.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fire extinguisher and kitchen hood protection services.
Knowledge of NFPA standards and handling of dangerous goods.
Bilingual candidate is highly preferred: English and Spanish
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.54-$36.49. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experienceknowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with marketdata.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflectsthe target compensation for this role.
