Job Description
Elastomers Australia is seeking a practical and hands on Account Manager to join our Sales team based in our Perth Branch. Reporting directly to the General Manager WA the role will be responsible for managing and providing a high level of service to our existing customer base ensuring that all objectives planned by our Client and the Sales team are followed through. Providing technical assistance to our existing customers innovation and market knowledge are all key focus areas of the position.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to our client mine sites to build customer relationships on a proactive basis to ensure areas such as product development improvements and solutions can be provided
- Facilitate discussions with clients for the development of their objectives strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of their organisations resources
- Discuss with clients to elaborate on the areas of proposed improvements
- Develop and present plans to implement any recommended changes as required by our clients
- Ensure that clients receive the necessary assistance to carry out the scope of works on site
- Be the key conduit between the client and the branch supervisors to ensure all scope of works are carried out on site as required by the client
- Liaise with clients to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant considerations to assist with site efficiency

Requirements
- To have worked within the mining and mineral processing or resources industries in an Account Manager position for a minimum of 3-5 years
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and other key stakeholders to build rapport and professional relationships
- Demonstrated skills of maintaining a professional level of service to the client
- Excellent time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including email for communication word excel etc
- Ability to travel to client mine sites where required
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Driven nature with a high level of initiative

The successful candidate will be required to undergo training for a period of up to 2 weeks that will be completed at our Head Office in Melbourne.
