Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse team. This is a full-time role for someone who is dependable organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 25 years of shipping warehouse or logistics experience and be confident using forklifts RF scanners and inventory systems to support smooth and accurate shipping operations.
Pay: $21/hr
Hours: 6 AM-2:30 PM (M-F)
Key Responsibilities
- Process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
- Pick pack label and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify shipment contents against packing lists and order forms
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move load and unload materials
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and update stock levels
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Assist with receiving incoming shipments and storing materials in designated areas
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
- Keep the warehouse clean organized and safe
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related issues as needed
- Communicate with internal teams and external shipping partners to ensure efficient operations
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Required Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in a shipping warehouse or logistics role
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Strong inventory management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
