We are seeking a BMP/Restoration Services Group Leader to join our growing team in Concord this role youll coordinate hiring and oversee the crews installing stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs). Youll work closely with our internal construction team and our clients and ensure crews correctly install/remove BMPs as required by the SWPPP while ensuring all safety requirements are followed.

The Restoration Services Group Leader manages a diverse portfolio of construction activitiesincluding installation of erosion control devices stormwater BMP installation hydroseeding rightofway clearing fencing and emergency responsesupporting utility transportation and municipal clients throughout California.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and execute the vision for environmental and restoration construction operations building and scaling highperforming BMP field teams and office support
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of work including stormwater BMP installation and removal erosion control hydroseeding rightofway clearing fencing and emergency response for utility and municipal clients
  • Manage existing BMP work performed by subcontractors direct subcontractor crews and conduct periodic safety audits
  • Hire train and lead superintendents and field crews fostering a strong safety culture and highquality field execution
  • Apply strong technical knowledge of stormwater BMP installation techniques and other light construction projects to plan work and schedule crews in a dynamic environment. Proposal development for new projects/opportunities is also a task within this position including budget preparation as well as written proposal development.
  • Coordinate labor equipment and resources to maintain schedules compliance and profitability across projects.
  • Order material and equipment and manage warehouse inventory.
  • Review and approve timecards field reports schedules and project correspondence to support accurate tracking and operational efficiency
  • Enforce health and safety standards to prevent injuryrelated shutdowns and promptly escalate issues to the Project Manager or Chief Safety Officer

What Youll Bring:

  • Associate degree or relevant experience in project management or construction projects
  • 7 years of experience in the construction industry
  • 3 years of experience in construction site management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to completing work safely
  • Experience scheduling multiple jobsites/resources daily
  • Ability to commute to job sites and travel long distances and overnight as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience installing BMPs
  • CHST certification
  • PMP certification
  • Fluent in Spanish

Salary Range:

At Verdantas we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate such as geographic location skills and certifications.We recognize and reward exceptional performance and strive to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company. The minimum salary for this position is $115000 (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
